Off-Road Adventures New Location in Banner Elk

The Lodges at Eagles Nest Amenity for Owners and Guests

Off-Road Adventures, LLC, a specialized resort transportation company, is bringing an exciting new ride and drive High Country experience to the Banner Elk area.  Embark on worry free half, full-day, and multi-day journeys in state-of-the-art off-road vehicles.

The Company’s first rental center in the area will serve the 2500+ acre Eagles Nest resort development.  With miles of off-road trails set aside for UTV’s, the Lodges at Eagles Nest provides the perfect introduction to this adventure.  Off-Road Adventures invites you to be “energized” by the outdoors…fresh air, stunning landscapes and endless possibilities to explore are the bread and butter that fuel a real outdoor adventure.  So, if you are looking for a new outdoor experience and you happen to be staying in the Lodges at Eagles Nest, Off-Road Adventures invites you to experience one of their 6-passenger off-road UTVs.  The fleet features the Kawasaki’s top-of-the line PRO-FXT with electric power steering and automatic transmission.  The PRO-FXT EPS LE is the perfect side-by-side off-road 4WD vehicle for your “family” outing in the NC outdoors.

Last year, while on a family Thanksgiving celebration in Banner Elk, Jon and Tom Waldrop, the owners of Electric Cart Company, LLC (ECC), in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, began formulating plans for Off-Road Adventures.  This father/son team have a 12-year background as a State-licensed dealer for for Club Car, GEM by Polaris, StarEV, Garia, Tomberlin, and Yamaha which most in the industry experts recognize as having the largest selection of “street legal” golf carts in the Southeastern US.  However, it was their experience over the last decade in the resort vehicle rental business at the beach that propelled them to create a plan to rent fun, safe, off-road vehicles in the NC High Country.  In addition to sales and service, ECC currently operates a rental fleet of 90+ rental carts on the beachfront roadways along the Florida Panhandle between Destin and Panama City Beach.  After meeting with Will Adkins of the Waterfront Group, the developer of The Lodges at Eagles Nest, a vision was born. It begins on May 23rd.
